History

Back in 2017, we did a bunch of scientific testing and found that putting a flashing light in a fishing lure greatly improved strike rates. We took video evidence, and 1000 revolutionary new fishing lures to a boat show and sold the lot in less than four days. Due to popular demand, Glowbite was born!

Philosophy

Glowbite now designs and manufactures hundreds of different fishing lures. Each model includes market leading innovations, but our underlying philosophy hasn't changed; "If we can't scientifically prove it catches more fish, we won't do it".

Patented Technology

Strobe lures are our latest Glowbite innovation. They're trolling lures with a light so bright you can hardly look at it, but big game fish love them!

When Captain Steve Campbell ran a Strobe prototype on his port-long-rigger for a season he found his strike rate on that lure position more than doubled, from 28% (twenty-year average) to a staggering 59%!
